Bedervale is one of the most interesting colonial homesteads in Southern New South Wales.

Bedervale was designed by John Verge for Captian John Coghill and built between 1836 and 1842.

The Coghill / Maddrell family lived here until 1973 when Margaret and Roger Royds and their family bought the property.

Bedervale is a working, grazing property with scenic views to the town of Braidwood, Mount Jillamatong and the coastal range.
